Typical Application Scenarios

This valve is widely used in industrial hydraulic systems where reliable and cost-effective proportional control is needed:

• Machine Tool Control: Managing the speed and direction of auxiliary hydraulic axes.

• Plastic Machinery: Suitable for standard injection molding machines for core pullers or ejector movements.

• Material Handling: Controlling proportional lift and lower functions in mobile or stationary equipment.

• General Industrial Automation: Ideal for systems requiring repeatable motion profiles without the need for the extreme dynamics of a servo valve (VCD).

Important Precautions (Usage Notes)

• Filtration is Mandatory: Even though this is a “standard performance” valve, the spool/sleeve design is sensitive to silt. You must maintain a cleanliness level of ISO 4406 18/16/13.

• Center Position Logic: This is an Overlap spool (E01). There is a small “deadband” around the center position (approx. 10% of the command signal). This is beneficial for stopping leakage in the neutral position but requires consideration during PLC programming for smooth transitions.

• Tank Port Pressure: Be careful not to exceed the 210 bar pressure limit on Port T. Excessive backpressure can affect the solenoid performance or cause the valve to malfunction.

• Shielded Cabling: To ensure the stability of the onboard electronics, use shielded cables for the 0-10V command signal and ground the shield at the cabinet end to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI).

• Mounting Interface: Ensure the subplate mounting surface (CETOP 03) is clean and flat (roughness Ra 0.8 $\mu$m). Uneven surfaces can distort the valve body, leading to spool sticking.
