D3FPE50YA9NB00 Parker Proportional Valve
Typical Application Scenarios
The D3FP series is the “gold standard” for applications requiring the highest precision and speed in a direct-operated valve:
-
High-Speed Positioning: Ideal for hydraulic axes requiring millisecond-level precision in position control (e.g., synchronized cylinders).
-
Testing Equipment: Frequently used in dynamic test rigs and flight simulators due to its ultra-high frequency response.
-
Closed-Loop Control: Perfect for controlling force, pressure, or velocity in complex industrial machinery.
-
High-End Injection Molding: Managing critical fast-shot phases where repeatability is essential for product quality.
Important Precautions (Usage Notes)
-
Superior Filtration Required: Because this valve uses a Spool-in-Sleeve design with extremely tight tolerances, it is highly sensitive to oil contamination. You must maintain a cleanliness level of ISO 4406 18/16/13. A 10 $\mu$m (or finer) high-pressure filter directly upstream is mandatory.
-
Tank Pressure Limit: While P, A, and B can handle 350 bar, the tank port (T) generally has a lower limit. If your return line pressure fluctuates or exceeds 35 bar, you must remove the Y-port plug and connect the Y-port (External Drain) directly to the tank.
-
Fail-Safe Position: In the event of a power failure, the VCD actuator moves the spool to a defined “Power Down” position (e.g., P-A or P-B depending on the model). Verify that this fail-safe behavior aligns with your machine’s safety protocols.
-
Cable Shielding: To fully utilize the high-speed digital electronics without signal noise interference, use shielded cables for the command signal and ground the shield at the control cabinet side.
-
Mounting Surface: Ensure the manifold mounting surface is ground to a flatness of 0.01 mm per 100 mm and a roughness of Ra 0.8 $\mu$m to prevent body distortion that could cause the spool to stick.
