Precautions for Use:

  1. Strict Filtration Requirements: While the ServoJet® pilot is more robust than nozzle-flapper designs, the metering edges of the main stage remain sensitive. Maintain a fluid cleanliness of ISO 4406 17/14/11 or better. Install a high-pressure filter ($\beta_{10} \geq 75$) directly upstream without a bypass.

  2. Stable Pilot Pressure: For the specified dynamic performance, the pilot supply pressure must be stable and at least 25 bar (360 psi) above the return pressure. Insufficient pressure will lead to sluggish response or limited spool travel.

  3. Electrical Grounding & Shielding: This valve contains sensitive integrated electronics. Use shielded cables for all signal lines and ensure the shield is connected to the mating connector housing to comply with EMC requirements and prevent signal interference.

  4. System Flushing: Never use the D663Z4305K to flush a new or repaired hydraulic system. Always use a flushing plate to clear construction debris from the piping before installing the valve to protect its precision internal components.
