Usage and Maintenance Precautions

• Superior Filtration: While the ServoJet® pilot stage is more debris-tolerant than nozzle-flapper designs, it still requires clean oil to prevent wear. Maintain a cleanliness level of ISO 4406 18/16/13 or better.

• Pilot Oil Requirements: Ensure the pilot pressure is stable. If the system pressure varies significantly, using an external pilot supply (Port X) is recommended to maintain consistent valve dynamics and prevent control oscillation.

• Cable Shielding: To protect the Integrated Electronics (OBE) from industrial noise, use shielded 6+PE or 11+PE connectors. The shield must be connected to the metal housing of the connector to ensure signal integrity.

• Mounting Surface Integrity: The mounting manifold must be ground to a flatness of 0.01 mm over 100 mm. Use high-tensile bolts (Class 12.9) to prevent manifold distortion, which can cause the internal spool to bind.
