Application Scenarios:

The D662-4070 is engineered for heavy-duty industrial automation where high volume flow must be controlled with extreme precision. It is widely used in large-scale plastic injection molding machines, die-casting machines, metal forming presses, and high-load material testing rigs. Because the ServoJet® pilot stage produces high spool-driving forces, this valve is particularly effective in high-cycle applications where reliability and rapid acceleration of large hydraulic actuators are required.

Precautions for Use:

• Fluid Cleanliness: While the ServoJet® pilot is more robust than nozzle-flapper designs, the system should maintain ISO 4406 17/14/11 or better to maximize service life.

• Pilot Pressure: Ensure the pilot supply pressure ($p_x$) is stable and at least 25 bar (360 psi). Insufficient pilot pressure will significantly degrade the dynamic response and may cause the valve to fail to reach full stroke under high flow forces.

• Filtration: A high-pressure filter with a rating of $\beta_{10} \geq 75$ is recommended to be installed directly upstream of the valve without a bypass to protect the precision pilot stage.

• Electrical Grounding: Use shielded cables for all control signals. The shield must be connected to the mating connector housing to comply with EMC requirements and prevent signal noise from affecting the integrated electronics.

• Mounting Surface: The manifold surface must be flat within 0.01 mm per 100 mm to prevent the valve body from distorting when bolted, which could cause the internal spool to stick.

• Flushing Plate: Never use the D662 valve to flush a new hydraulic system. Always use a flushing plate to clean the piping thoroughly before installation to avoid permanent damage from initial system debris.
