The G771K613 is engineered for applications requiring low flow rates combined with extremely high precision. It is a preferred component for fine-scale material testing, precision laboratory automation, robotic joint control, and aerospace structural actuators. Its “spool-in-bushing” design provides superior centering and stability, making it ideal for closed-loop systems where maintaining a exact position or a very subtle force is critical for system safety and data accuracy.

Precautions for Use:

  1. Contamination Control: The internal nozzle-flapper is highly sensitive to particulates. You must maintain a hydraulic fluid cleanliness level of ISO 4406 14/11 or better to prevent the valve from clogging or “drifting” from its null position.

  2. Mandatory Filtration: Install a high-pressure, non-bypass filter (with $\beta_{10} \geq 75$) immediately upstream of the valve to protect the precision pilot stage.

  3. Flushing Protocol: Never use the G771K613 to flush a new hydraulic system. Use a flushing plate to clean the piping thoroughly before installing the servo valve to avoid permanent damage to the internal orifices.

  4. Manifold Specifications: The mounting surface must be flat within 0.05 mm (0.002 in). An uneven surface can cause the internal bushing to distort when the bolts are torqued, leading to increased spool friction or sticking.

  5. Seal Compatibility: Always verify that your hydraulic fluid is compatible with Viton (FKM) seals. Exposure to incompatible fluids can cause seal degradation, leading to internal or external leakage.
