Application Scenarios:

The G772K240 is ideally suited for high-flow precision control in industrial systems requiring fast-acting motion or pressure modulation. It is extensively used in plastic injection molding machinery for injection speed control, large-scale material testing machines, metal forming presses, and high-response simulators. Its 15 gpm flow capacity and “spool-in-bushing” design provide the necessary power and reliability for heavy-duty automation where consistent repeatability is critical.

Precautions for Use:

  1. Filtration Standard: The nozzle-flapper pilot stage is extremely sensitive. You must maintain hydraulic fluid cleanliness to ISO 4406 Code 14/11 or better.

  2. Filter Installation: A high-pressure filter (without bypass, $\beta_{10} \geq 75$) should be installed as close to the valve inlet as possible to protect against catastrophic failure from debris.

  3. No Dry Operation: Never operate the valve without oil flow, as the pilot stage and motor components require the fluid for thermal stability and lubrication.

  4. Manifold Specifications: The mounting surface must be flat within 0.05 mm (0.002 in). An uneven manifold can cause the internal bushing to flex, leading to spool friction or “sticking.”

  5. Flushing Protocol: Always use a flushing plate to clean the hydraulic lines before installing the servo valve. Debris from a new system can permanently damage the precision orifices of the G772K240.
