The G771K202 is specifically engineered for high-precision closed-loop control of position, velocity, and force. Its balanced flow rate (5.0 gpm) makes it a versatile choice for industrial robotics, aerospace structural testing rigs, material testing machines, and automated precision metal forming. It is favored in environments where high stability under continuous high-frequency cycling is required, such as fatigue testing and high-speed positioning of hydraulic cylinders.

Precautions for Use:

  1. Fluid Cleanliness: The nozzle-flapper pilot stage is extremely sensitive to micro-particles. It is mandatory to maintain hydraulic fluid cleanliness at ISO 4406 Code 14/11 or better to prevent “null shift” or spool jamming.

  2. Upstream Filtration: A high-pressure filter (with $\beta_{10} \geq 75$) must be installed directly upstream. Never use the G771K202 to flush a new or dirty hydraulic system; always use a dedicated flushing plate.

  3. Manifold Flatness: The mounting manifold surface must be flat within 0.05 mm (0.002 in). Any unevenness can distort the internal bushing during installation, leading to friction and loss of precision.

  4. No Dry Starts: Never apply electrical signals to the valve without hydraulic pressure, as the internal components rely on the fluid for damping and cooling.

  5. Seal Compatibility: Always confirm that the hydraulic fluid is compatible with Viton (FKM) seals. Using incompatible fire-resistant or phosphate-ester fluids can cause seal swelling and internal leaks.
