Precautions for Use:

1. Strict Fluid Cleanliness: The internal nozzle-flapper pilot stage is highly sensitive to microscopic particulates. It is mandatory to maintain a hydraulic fluid cleanliness level of ISO 4406 Code 14/11 or better to prevent the valve from “drifting” or seizing.

2. Upstream Filtration: Always install a high-pressure, non-bypass filter immediately upstream of the valve. Do not use the servo valve to flush a new system; use a dedicated flushing plate instead.

3. Manifold Flatness: The mounting manifold surface must be flat within 0.05 mm (0.002 in). Any unevenness can cause the internal bushing to distort when the bolts are torqued, leading to increased spool friction or binding.
