Applications: The Moog D634-319C direct-drive servo valve is expertly tailored for high-flow, high-precision electrohydraulic closed-loop control systems. Utilizing an analog $\pm$10 VDC interface and a robust permanent magnet linear force motor, it provides exceptionally stable, pressure-independent dynamics. This 180 l/min capacity valve is extensively deployed in medium-to-heavy industrial automation, including high-speed plastic injection molding equipment, die-casting machinery, large metal forming and stamping presses, automated wood/lumber processing plants, and multi-axis industrial simulators.

Precautions:

1. Fluid Quality: Compliance with ISO 4406 < 15/12 fluid cleanliness is vital; you must install a high-pressure non-bypass filter (β10​≥75) directly upstream to shield the precision-ground spool metering edges from particle wear.

2. Circuit Flushing: Never stream oil through the servo valve during initial commissioning; use a temporary flushing plate to purge the entire hydraulic network beforehand.

3. Electrical Safety: Given its peak 2.2 A draw, each valve demands a dedicated, stable 24 VDC supply protected by an external 2.5 A slow-blow fuse to prevent destructive voltage spikes from damaging the internal electronics.
